We tend to think that copying ideas is wrong. It's somehow associated with stealing something from the original creator.
When we copy something, the result is never exactly the same. We use the idea as an inspiration, a starting point, then we had a bit of ourselves, we improve upon. There is probably very few original ideas. We mostly take thoughts and changes them, combine them. Great work if often found at the intersection of multiple ideas. We can even say than copying is being innovative. Nature itself thrive on making copies. Evolution it's just a series of copies with slight changes now and then.
