I do my best work in the morning, it's quiet and peaceful. I can get in a flow state more easily. But to be efficiente I need to avoid all distractions. That means no meetings, no phone calls, no chats...

For the next few days I will also delay reading my emails until mid-day. It can be so easy to work on a task someone sent you and forgot about what you wanted to do. I going to focus on safeguarding my mornings.

This routine is especially important when working on creative tasks. The cost of switching is high, that's why the perfect day have two chunk of time of 4 hours, one the morning and one the afternoon.
